What is matrix-RAD?

Unfortunately, you can't be told what matrix-RAD is, you have to see it for yourself.
But here are the slide shows I use in presentations, they may help. matrix-DFS is a significant sub-project of matrix-RAD.

For an overview of all that is planned, and all that is done so far, check out the design document.

What happened to matrix-DFS?

It is still here. matrix-DFS has been renamed to matrix-RAD due to a small change in development direction. matrix-DFS is now a subset of matrix-RAD modules. Further development of matrix-DFS will pause until matrix-RAD is more mature. Some P2P software is handling some of the problems that matrix-DFS was meant to solve. When matrix-DFS returns, it is likely to be as a management layer on top of freenet.
